Learn more about CPES and our team....

The CPES story since 1982

The company was formed in 1982 in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, to provide a limited range of electrical connection units for park operators developing their pitches to accommodate the increasing demand for electricity. Over the years the product range has expanded enormously and CPES Ltd have been at the forefront of innovations within the designing, developing and marketing of the humble camping control unit throughout Europe to installing computerised Automatic Meter Reading systems allowing you the freedom to monitor and control the consumption of electricity and other utilities at each pitch.

Design & Build

Our skilled team of sales engineers and support staff can design and build the complete electrical infrastructure for your park. As members of the NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) our experienced engineers and project managers will ensure your electrical works are carried out to the highest standard whilst maintaining compliance with all current Health & Safety legislation.

We have an extensive product range to cover all requirements in leisure park developments. Our Purchasing and R & D Departments will source components and design products for your park. Our Fabrication & Manufacturing division will build standard and bespoke products and our Sales Department will offer advice and quotations and track your orders from placement to despatch.

Test & Inspect

In line with the latest edition of the BS7671 IET wiring regulations, all our installation work is tested for compliance and verification prior to handover.

We have a dedicated testing and certificating department including NICEIC QS’s (Qualifying Supervisors) to oversee and sign off reports and provide remedial work quotations.
We can also provide a testing programme to cover all aspects of periodic inspections for your holiday, park home or touring park along with your buildings network.

Extensive product range

Our extensive product range caters for all of your park needs. We have a large range of electrical distribution units which can be pulled from stock or made bespoke to your requirements. We also design and build bollards to suit your requirements incorporating water and lighting as well as the electrical hook up.

We have a great range of lighting and electric vehicle charging options too.

In good hands

With over 35 years of experience designing, manufacturing and installing electrical distribution systems the length and breadth of the UK as well as in mainland Europe we are confident we can provide the quality and service needed in this increasingly competitive industry.

We have supplied and installed our products on holiday, residential and camping parks of all shapes and sizes and are happy to give advice and guidance to all parks large or small.

18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671: 2018)

The 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations applies from 1st January 2019. This will have an effect on all 16A and 32A socketed connections, as it will be mandatory to fit an interlock to every socket outlet. The interlock prevents the extraction and insertion of a plug when live. This does not affect any existing socket outlets you currently have.
