Learn more about CPES and our team....

The CPES story since 1982

The company was formed in 1982 in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, to provide a limited range of electrical connection units for park operators developing their pitches to accommodate the increasing demand for electricity. Over the years the product range has expanded enormously and CPES Ltd have been at the forefront of innovations within the designing, developing and marketing of the humble camping control unit throughout Europe to installing computerised Automatic Meter Reading systems allowing you the freedom to monitor and control the consumption of electricity and other utilities at each pitch.

In line with the latest edition of the BS7671 IET wiring regulations, all our installation work is tested for compliance and verification prior to handover.

We have a dedicated testing and certificating department including NICEIC QS’s (Qualifying Supervisors) to oversee and sign off reports and provide remedial work quotations.
We can also provide a testing programme to cover all aspects of periodic inspections for your holiday, park home or touring park along with your buildings network.

18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671: 2018)

The 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations applies from 1st January 2019. This will have an effect on all 16A and 32A socketed connections, as it will be mandatory to fit an interlock to every socket outlet. The interlock prevents the extraction and insertion of a plug when live. This does not affect any existing socket outlets you currently have.
